While the country waited, millions of America’s youth embarked on a mission to end the tyrannies of Nazi Germany, Italy, and Japan. The families and loved ones back home counted upon the leadership of the United States armed forces to look out for the safety of their boy, father, or husband. When that man was hurt, they counted upon the expertise of the Medical Department: men and women responsible for keeping the fighting men alive and well.

It is these veterans that we honor, those individuals who went into combat without a way to fire back, who went into combat not to crush the enemy, but to sustain those whose job it was to go forth.

WWIIMedic.com is devoted to WWII Medical research and reproductions for avid medical history enthusiasts and WWII Medic reenactors.

Actually, it’s even easier than “joining.” All you need to do is post a comment at the end of a post that you enjoyed, used, or disliked. Done.

If you’re really into this stuff and want to talk to the world about it, I’d be more than happy to post your article. You’ll want to get in touch with me before starting though, so we can synchronize our watches and all that jazz.
