WWII Reproduction Medical Paperwork by Taylor Dewey --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | Bandage, Triangular, Compressed | ~~~~~~~~~ PAPER ~~~~~~~~~ The original I have is made out of a somewhat light-weight chipboard (a tad lighter than the weight of the inside of most cereal boxes, but very close in color.). ~~~~~~~~~ CUTTING ~~~~~~~~~ Use a combination of scissors and x-acto knife to cut the outside of the box. No, the lines shouldn't be curvy at all, that is your humble author being lazy and not cleaning up the outline. Simply make those lines straight. Also there are a few areas which will need to be cut to make a flap . On the sides of the box where it says "bandage, triangular" in small letters there are two small (four total) almost triangles. Those should be freed (but not removed) from the box. Only three will require this cut. If you are unsure what to cut, don't try it until you go to build the box then it should be obvious. ~~~~~~~~~ ASSEMBLY ~~~~~~~~~ Score all the interior lines. Pre-fold everything. The tab at the top of the document will require a bit of glue and will be adhered to the inside of the bottom of the box. Everything else is just a flap that folds into the box. ~~~~~~~~~ USAGE ~~~~~~~~~ This came from a quantity 10 box. There are usage instructions on the box itself. These may have been carried by combat medics. They were certainly present in aid stations. ~~~~~~~~~ NOTES ~~~~~~~~~ The original actually said "Bandage, Triangular, Compressed, O.D. "Dyed Dressings" " I modified this to omit the OD and Dyed Dressings part. I did not change the stock number so it may not match the description, I am unsure. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you have any other questions, feel free to email me at tdewey@wwiimedic.com The image file this file describes is copyright under the Creative Commons Licence viewable at http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/2.5/
